This
is a little post to help with navigation for those that are new to the
blog. Ask Team Lightbringers is an ask blog that centers around a pair of bounty hunters on their quest to catch an A rank outlaw. Though the story features other characters, it mainly focuses on Gabriel and Armani.
This
is a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon ask blog, meaning the characters will all appear as
Pokémon. It is important to note that humans do not exist in this world and asks cannot come from them. Asks must come from Pokémon or anons otherwise they will be ignored.
This blog is a sideblog run by @noblejanobii so all follows and most asks will come from that account. I also run a
couple other ask blogs, as well as a comic, so I ask for your
patience in responses.
This post also acts as a permanent ask
call. If you want an ask from this blog, please either reply or reblog
this post. I’ll get to it in a timely manner. If you want a specific
interaction, you are welcome to mention it when
you comment/reblog. Otherwise, I will pick whoever I think will have a
better
interaction with your characters.
I haven’t drawn these guys in four years and it was really fun to do so again. Don’t worry about the fact that Armani’s scorbunny appearance is completely different I’m allowed to change things. They’re a corpse now what does it matter.
There was a prompt on a forum that asked people to draw their characters as Pokémon, but since my characters are already Pokémon, I drew them as different Pokémon and Neopets.
Everyone’s drawing their blog characters as Neopets but I’m so cool that I did it four years ago heehhoo
(ask-teamlightbringers) Armani floats up to Mei and tries to awkwardly strike up a conversation. "So you're a polteageist right? A fellow ghost type...? " they fumble for a moment before quietly asking, "Do you think you could use your ghostly abilities to get more tickets from the arcade games?"
”Yeah, I’m a Polteageist, through and through!” Mei replies proudly. “To be honest I’m surprised you could tell- most people think I’m at least part Cufant when they see me!” He chuckles.
“Oh sh-shoot!” Mei exclaims in response to Armani’s suggestion, quickly correcting herself, noticing the children around. “That’s ingenious- Why didn’t I think of that?!?”
Suddenly, a ghostly hand shoots out of the Pokémon’s nose and reaches towards the closest game.
Heather: It’s good exercise as well.. Keeps me fit and stuff… Plus my therapist says exercise is good for my mental health..
The glameow nervously begins to tap her fingers against her side, eyes flickering around a bit before suddenly changing her tone.
Heather: But uh, I’m also able to teach others about how to do Aerial Silk. So if either of you are interested, I could possibly help you out. I assure you it isn’t as scary as it looks sometimes.
Hugo: See, he was the first Ghost King to come outta the Kiln, but I was the second. Just as powerful, but an enigma. So he got antsy about that and came to find me on the island I had set up as a base.
Hugo: …it was pretty good timing because I had plans, and I needed better funding. I knew he was loaded from his reputation, so I proposed a deal. I think he was expecting me to be violent or terrible or something because he came in with this haughty guard up but me doing that instead surprised him.
Hugo: so he took me home with him and fed me, we worked out a deal, then he got drunk and started crying to me about his religion and lack of love life and now we’re pretty much best friends. funny how things work out.
